I ordered the Baya Slide for a 7 year old granddaughter who really likes the shoe. The first time she wore them playing in the park fountain, and she developed big rub spots where the top of the shoe struck her great toe joint. Next time I saw her she had taped both areas with criss-cross band-aids, to avoid rubbing. I put moleskin under the upper opening for her toes, and hoped that would help, but it came unstuck. The shoes are worn frequently, and hang with an energetic little girl, but I did not buy a second pair for a second granddaughter, because of the difficulty with a tendency to develop blisters from areas that rubbed. Incidentally, the shoe was the correct size, so the problem had to do with construction, and wearing shoes with no socks.
